The Hughes Family Tribute Center will present its sixth Día de los Muertos Celebración on Monday, November 2 in Crown Hill Memorial Park, at the site of Bonnie Parker's grave. The cemetery, located in the Bachman Lake area, is traditionally visited by families on Dia de los Muertos.
The Celebración builds on this tradition by presenting an opening parade; dance performances by Grupo Pakal, specializing in Mayan dance presentations, live mariachi music; children’s entertainment, and food and beverage concessions.
The Celebración is free and open to the public. From 3-5:30 pm
The cemetery is an outdoor venue, and guests will be asked to wear face coverings and to social distance.
Performance Schedule
3:00 to 4:00 pm: Tharpo the Clown and Stilt Walkers
4:00 p.m.: Opening Parade
4:30 to 5:30 p.m.: Music and Dance Performances
