The Hiett Prize in the Humanities Online Gala

Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture

Join The Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture in celebrating Professor Zena Hitz, as we honor her with the 16th annual Hiett Prize in the Humanities.  Dr. Hitz is a Tutor at St. John’s College, where she teaches across the liberal arts. Her B.A. degree in philosophy is from St. John’s, and she earned a Master of Philosophy degree from Cambridge University and a Ph.D. degree from Princeton University.

For the first time in its history, the 2020 Hiett Prize will be presented during an online gala that will feature, in addition to Prof. Zena Hitz, several past Hiett winners. She will share what the achievement means to her, why she dedicated her life to the humanities, and how the prize will further her mission to pursue the greater good. The annual gala is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet several of the great minds in the humanities.
