In partnership with the Division of Theatre and the Meadows School of the Arts, alumna Regina Taylor ’81, award-winning actress, director and playwright, will present the black album. 2020. resistance., a collage of monologues, songs, scenes, images and objects exploring and addressing what it is to be Black in 2020. The presentation, written and directed by Taylor, will be performed live on the SMU Meadows YouTube channel by Meadows undergraduate and graduate acting students. Sets, costumes, lighting and sound will be created by Meadows theatre design students, alumni, and faculty in collaboration with guest artists.
