For any "painting with a glass of wine fans," Cancer Support Community North Texas today unveiled its first-ever "Paint the Canvas Red" virtual, hands-on painting and wine fundraiser that is open to the public.
The idea: The healing power of art has helped thousands of cancer patients heal and stay mentally healthy - especially during this frightening pandemic. Now from 7-9pm on Saturday, Nov. 14, "at-home artists" can enjoy an evening of painting and wine - CSCNT sends a canvas, wine and art supplies to each attendee at home - with friends across the DFW area. This virtual event will feature WFAA's Hannah Davis as emcee and music, live art instruction and more. The ticket price is $125, with all proceeds benefiting Cancer Support Community North Texas' free support and programming for cancer patients and their caregivers.
