Join TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND on Thursday, October 1, at 5pm CST for a live online discussion with renowned dance graduates from Dallas’ Arts Magnet, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (BTWHSPVA). To Broadway and Beyond, this conversation will include Christopher Vo, Catherine Ellis Kirk, Mason Manning, and Omar Rivera.
BTWHSPVA is ranked among the top ten Arts Magnet schools in the country. The school has continually produced stellar artists, with careers taking them to the Broadway stage and to major dance companies worldwide. The conversation will explore their career paths post-graduation and where they are now. We’ll also talk about dancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, their next career steps, and advice to young artists.
TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND is a dance only presenter and a catalyst for cultural collaborations. Our Virtual Santos Salon series is designed to bring our arts community together and create meaningful conversations during this difficult time. Artists need to come together, support each other, and have these conversations so we can ensure that all voices are heard, now and in the future.
