A Fair To Remember is a roller coaster ride about the biggest, boldest and longest-running state fair in the country. Begun in 1886, the remarkable State Fair of Texas remains an iconic and timeless tradition every year for Texans across the Lone Star State. It is a tradition etched in the personal memories of millions. The film weaves together the social history of Dallas including the era when there was only one day for Black people to attend- Negro Achievement Day. Today, people of all races, ethnicities, economic situations come together to devour corny dogs, listen to music, ride the Ferris wheel.
Dramatic archival footage, alluring interviews, and dazzling animation will entertain viewers of
all ages! Narrated by actor Barry Corbin, Music by Brave Combo, animation by Janimation and
co-produced by Phil Allen.
