Merging Visions: A Collaborative exhibit of art and poetry
An online exhibition by the Visual Arts Society of Texas and the Denton Poets' Assembly

Started in 2007 Merging Visions is a collaborative exhibition of art and poetry organized by the Visual Arts Society of Texas and the Denton Poets' Assembly. Artists and poets are partnered to create poems and artworks that are inspired by one another's creativity. Poems and artwork range in topics from animals to state parks to more abstract ideas like politics.
This year's exhibition features 30 poem & art combinations and can be viewed online. The exhibit also features poems that have been recorded by the artists and poets to add a auditory element to the exhibition.
Catalogs that feature both the artwork and the poems are available to purchase through the Visual Arts Society of Texas.
