Territorial

In “Territorial”, three female artists create an immersive exhibition that addresses landscape, place and our relationship to the land. The artists explore the complexities of land in terms of boundaries, ownership and defenses. This exhibition seeks to challenge preconceived notions of land ownership, from national borders to economic expansion, as well as firmly held beliefs in the genre of landscape painting. Gonzalez, Jaeggli, and Villanueva are are MFA graduate students at UNT.
