LCC Genealogy Series with HOGAR

Latino Cultural Center

Learn how to improve your genealogy research skills as a beginner or an intermediate-level researcher by using more accurate and detailed techniques to help discover additional information about your ancestors. The focus will be on how to use the digital finding aids at the FamilySearch.org site to research the digitized and undigitized records and how to evaluate and record the results.

To register for this FREE class, please email Jessica Trevizo at [email protected]

This class will be presented by Jo Ann Valentin, Community Outreach Coordinator with Hispanic Organization for Genealogy and Research (HOGAR de Dallas.) As a family historian, Jo Ann has researched her family tree for the last 30 years. As a member of HOGAR, she has enjoyed helping others build their family trees by providing classes that offer a perspective based on her own experiences.
