David Dike Fine Art presents the Texas Art Auction for the 24th year in a row. Highlights in the sale include exceptional paintings by Jose Arpa, several works by Julian Onderdonk, and early Dallas painter and teacher, Frank Reaugh. There are strong examples of midcentury modern works by Seymour Fogel and Jennie Haddad as well as some rare pieces by Dallas Nine artist Perry Nichols
The safety of our clients and staff remains our top priority. To that end, the Fall Texas Art Auction will take place without a live audience. The sale will still be a live sale, conducted by Louis Murad of Murad Auctioneers (TXS 13362). As in the past, we will provide live traditional phone bidding, absentee bidding, live online bidding through Live Auctioneers and new this year: NextLot. Forms and bidding platform links available below.
Like other auction houses have practiced throughout the world over the past several months, David Dike Fine Art will host the sale virtually with a live video feed. We will maintain our traditional live, real time methods of phone and live bidding through Live Auctioneers with the new added option of bidding with NextLot. Please visit the links below for full instruction on pre-registration. We encourage our bidders to log in and register in advance of the sale and familiarize yourself with the platform of your choice. Again, we will maintain our traditional phone and absentee bidding options as well. The Fall sale features 410 lots of art. You may preview the art safely and in-person at your convenience prior to the sale. The auction on October 3, 2020 will take place with staff only. 214 Projects, the auction location, will be closed to the public and closed to in-person, in-room live audience bidding.
