Draw, paint, sculpt, collage and print as you learn the elements of art: LINE, SHAPE, COLOR, TEXTURE and VALUE. Little ones get exposed right away to artists, art vocabulary, and art material safety. Storytime, songs, and movement help to engage the littlest artist. Parents stay nearby for this class, allowing your child to build self-esteem and motor skills while warming up to art studio safety.
Toddler classes will remain virtual until further notice. We encourage pods and families to take advantage of our one screen group pricing. If virtual is not your thing, we are happy to put together supplies and some suggestions for at home creativity. We will also begin offering outdoor and physically distant family classes in October. Stay tuned and thank you for your support! If you have a class request, please let us know.
Virtual lessons How To: Your Class Kit includes the lesson plan and surfaces for each week. Parents should make space for art making and have clean up supplies like hand wipes and napkins near-by. After you register, a link to your ZOOM classroom will be sent along with a welcome email that includes more information as well as a time to arrange kit pick-up.
Items not included in your kit you'll need are a pencil, paintbrushes, scissors, glue, water jar/basin, color dry drawing medium (crayon/colored pencil/marker), apron, paper towel. If you need any of these or other art supply items, please shop with us in Oak Cliff, by phone or online. We prepare orders everyday and are happy to find you just what you need
