SceneShop presents "Here I Am"

A summer with no SceneShop? Unthinkable.

On Saturday, August 8, at 8 pm, SceneShop debuts "Here I Am" on YouTube. The reason for that "premiere" time is because two performers will be performing live. After that, the show will remain available on our YouTube channel, "SceneShop, Fort Worth, TX."  There is no charge.

"Here I Am" is an all-monologues show, because we did not wish to ask actors and directors to have to meet physically to rehearse. Thematically, the show will deal with ideas of isolation, separation, loneliness, being one in the crowd- or one apart from the crowd- ands sometimes, simply having something to say. We hope viewers will find laughs to be had, tears to be shed, thoughts provoked, and surprises.

Writers and performers lending their talents - some, from as far away as Arizona and California- include Christopher Bradley, Rob Bosquez, Steven Cashion, Debbie Dacus, Stephen Ellis, Joshua Eguia, Winston Daniels, Chris Gepp, Steven Alan McGaw, Cody Jackson, Straton Rushing, Sid Polezcek, Natalie Gaupp, Jeffrey Watson, Mark G. Makin, Lynda Christine Rodriguez, Susan van Belkum and Adam Whittington.  The technical director for the show is Michael Carver-Simmons.
