Galleria Dallas continues to expand its community outreach through its newest partnership with Make A Wish North Texas. The shopping and lifestyle center is preparing for its newest installation, Art of a Wish, an exhibit featuring more than 15 works of art by children who are battling critical childhood illnesses. The art on display will also be available for purchase through an online auction. Guests may bid on their favorite piece at WishesNeedYou.org, with all proceeds going toward making another child’s heartfelt wish come true.
Traditionally, wish art such as this would have been auctioned at local events, but COVID precautions have created opportunities for the foundation to pivot. Galleria Dallas looks to raise at least $10,000 to continue bringing hope, today and tomorrow.
The exhibit will be located on Level I near Apple from August 6 through August 30, 2020.
Additionally, Galleria Dallas’ PALS kids club program has partnered with Make A Wish North Texas to help spread hope and encouragement for the new school year. The first 50 kids who pick up a new Mission 3: Knowledge is Power passport at the Guest Reception Center on Level 1 will receive a free limited-edition Back-to-School Wish Bear purchased by Galleria Dallas beginning Aug. 1.
