Music Along the Orient Express

Arlington Museum of Art

MUSIC ALONG THE ORIENT EXPRESS!

Due to these strange Covid 19 times, we anticipate a cap on audience capacity, and food/drink service will be entirely different. We will update our info as needed, and reach out to those who have purchased tickets, if necessary. Temperatures will be taken at the door, and masks required except when eating/drinking at table. Thank you for your support!

There  have been novels written and movies made about this famous railway route through Europe!  Most famously, Agatha Christie's tale, "Murder on the Orient Express!', which went from book to movie. The route runs from Turkey, through Hungary, Austria, Germany, France and believe it or not, England! Yes, the rail cars have been put on boats to cross the English Channel! Hear some music from each country; instrumental, and for tenor voice. Hungarian Dances, works of Beethoven and Mozart from Germany and Austria, music of France such as Ravel and Debussy, some gems from England and a few surprises!

Stay for the post-concert party, when covered dessert plates will be served, and pianist Erik Barnes will take your musical requests. Complimentary wine and soft drinks. BYOB accepted. Concert performers: Pianists Kathy Abrahamson and Erik Barnes, violinists Timothy Angel and LeeAnne Chenoweth, tenor Don O'Neal LeBlanc, and cellist Jim Higgins.
