Teen Beat Making Workshop

**THIS IS A VIRTUAL WORKSHOP**
3 Day Workshop with home assignments
Date: Monday, Thursday and Friday July 6, 8, 10
Time: 12 -3 pm
Instructor: Robert Trusko
# of Students: 4 - 12
Ages: 11-17

This is an interactive virtual experience where students will learn about modern music production using the software Ableton Live and learn about various career paths in the field from being a Music Director, Music Producer, to Film Scoring, and Audio Engineering. Students will learn the basics of using Ableton live with in-class demonstrations, and complete creative assignments throughout the week to apply what they’ve learned. 

Class Required Materials:

  • Access to a Laptop

  • Zoom

  • Ableton Live*

Robert Trusko is a Dallas-based bassist, producer, and educator. Trusko works with countless ensembles to create live performances and albums. He is currently an adjunct professor teaching Ableton Live Music Production software at the University of North Texas.
