Summer Zoo Camps (Grades 4-5)

Get the kids out of the house and into nature this summer with a Dallas Zoo camp! We offer camps for students in PreK through Grade 12 with a variety of themes, from animal adaptations to zoo habitat design, and more. Camps include special zoo tours, animal encounters, and staff-led educational activities.

Summer Camps are held select weeks from June 8 through August 3, 2020. Camps are from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. Before Camp and After Camp Care are also available as an add-on during checkout.

Campers should be registered in their 2020-21 school year.

Aug 3-7 COST: $265.00 per child/$240.00 for Dallas Zoo Members

Learn what it takes to be a zoologist! Campers will go behind the scenes and hear from our zookeepers about the dynamics of animal husbandry and training. This camp includes a staff-supervised sleepover on Thursday night.

Spend the week discovering both the beautiful and the beastly qualities of Dallas Zoo’s unique and diverse residents.

Land to Sea
July 13-17

COST: $265.00 per child/$240.00 for Dallas Zoo Members

Take a journey from land to sea without even leaving Dallas! Campers will spend three days at Texas Discovery Gardens exploring the exciting things that live in the gardens, and two days at the Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park learning about the underwater world.

This camp includes a staff-supervised sleepover on Thursday night at the Children’s Aquarium. NO After Camp care is available the Friday after the overnight.
