Alternative rock band Blue October will perform May 15 at the grand opening of concert venue The HiFi Dallas. The venue, currently under construction at 1323 N. Stemmons Fwy. in the Design District, will feature North Texas' own Bowling For Soup on May 16.

The new venue features two floors, an outdoor patio serving food, craft beer and inventive cocktails, and a 1,000-person show capacity. Box seats and premium tickets are on the venue’s upper level alongside upscale food and beverage offerings and dedicated hospitality. Throughout The HiFi Dallas, concertgoers will have myriad choices for dining as well, including food and drinks on both levels.

The HiFi Dallas expects to produce 250 annual concerts and events and is operated by Live Nation, a longtime promoter throughout Texas. Live Nation currently operates and/or books House of Blues, South Side Ballroom and Toyota Music Factory.
