The Spectrum Downtown season continues with the public premiere of Gregory Sullivan Isaacs’ neoromantic Flute Sonata, a charming suite for eight violas—in this case, the complete FWSO viola section!—and a jazzy look at the lives of the actual “First Couple”, featuring a performance by not just one, but TWO married couples. Think of it as a belated Valentine’s Day present from Spectrum.
