SYZYGY presents an evening of contemporary music curated by students in the Division of Music. Each of these contemporary pieces was chosen or composed by Meadows students and prepared independently. The concert will feature Thomas Ridgway, a Meadows Performer’s Diploma student in piano, performing the challenging Constellation - Miroir by Pierre Boulez. It will also feature an encore performance of senior music composition and French horn performance major Nicolas Farmer’s chamber work Socorro for oboe, viola, bass trombone and double bass.
