A harpsichordist who has a music degree from Juilliard and a law degree from Yale Law School, a cellist who is also an accomplished mezzo soprano, and a flutist studying at UNT with degrees from the Universities of Michigan and North Carolina will perform a Baroque program on Friday, January 31,as part of the Lewisville Lake Symphony’s International Chamber series concerts.
Nadia Soree, harpsichord, Stephanie Sheldon, cello, and Hyunsu Yoon, flute, will play music from the seventeenth and first half of the eighteenth centuries, commonly known as the Baroque period in music that brought us works by composers such as Vivaldi and Bach and musical genres still in use today, such as the oratorio, concerto, sonata and opera.
