Contemporary "Love" Collage Workshop with Katherine Baronet

Current Artist Workshop

Students will create a piece of art worthy of being put in a frame in the Collage Workshop with the Theme of LOVE! This will be a special time to make your love a gift, a memory of a LOVEd one, or a sweet reminder of just how much you love them. A perfect workshop to share with another person!
You are encouraged to bring your own fabric, paper, love notes and small collage objects in a variety of shapes and sizes that reflect your taste. These items should be meaningful to you, such as concert tickets, letters, maps from trips you’ve taken, memorabilia, dried flower, pressed leaves, and old book pages. The most important item you are required to bring is a couple of photocopies or laser prints of pictures you’ve taken in a variety of sizes in both color and black and white. The more material means the more design options you’ll have. Bring any paints, matte medium you have. Keep in mind, no image or object should be larger than 9”. Glue, wire, some paper, some paints, brushes, and simple objects will be provided PLUS a white or black 9”x 9” shadow box frame.
