Rose-Mary Rumbley to Speak at Lakewood Library

The public is invited to hear local author and historian Rose-Mary Rumbley present "Thoughts of a Lakewood Library Reader." In January of 1938 Ms. Rumbley rode her tricycle to the opening of the original location of the Lakewood Library in the Lakewood Shopping Center, She continued her long relationship with the local library when it settled in its current location in 1970 on Worth Street and has a trove of stories about the library and the surrounding community, Doors open at 10:30 am for seating. Parking is limited; please consider carpooling. Free event.
