"Season's Greetings" features Christmas and greeting cards selected from more than 150 handmade art objects and limited edition printings that were sent to Monroe Wheeler, Director of Exhibitions and Publications at the Museum of Modern Art from 1939 to 1967 from artists he exhibited and published. Many of these are never-before-seen works of art created by such luminaries as Jean Cocteau, Marc Chagall, Antoni Tapies, Ben Shahn, Miguel Covarrubias, Rufino Tamayo, Robert Andrew Parker, Roberto Montenegro, Herbert Bayer and Max Weber.
