The Creative Computation Showcase presents student and faculty work in the Center for Creative Computation as well as interdisciplinary crossovers and collaborations with students and faculty from art, music and dance whose work intersects with the digital. The event includes interactive installations, video games, chatbots, computer music and interactive dance. Meadows’ premier improvisational group, the POINT Ensemble, led by Kim Corbet, will provide additional music and sound elements for the showcase with an evening concert in the gallery. The event begins with the opening of installed work, including projection work and video games, at 2 p.m. A reception follows, beginning at 6 p.m. Performances, talks, and time-based media showings begin at 7 p.m. and the POINT Ensemble performance begins at 8 p.m.
