Elizabeth Ellis, lauded by the Dallas Morning News as the city’s “premier” storyteller, will appear at the Nicholson Memorial Library System’s Senior Social Hour. Ms. Ellis will present holiday-themed tales at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Central Library, 625 Austin Street, in Downtown Garland.
Ms. Ellis has enjoyed a thirty-year career as a storyteller and is a repeat favorite at the National Storytelling Festival. She is a recipient of the Circle of Excellence Award from the National Storytelling Network and has been the Teller in Residence at the International Storytelling Center.
