The Junior World Affairs Council of Lake Highlands High School invites the public to hear their upcoming Global Awareness Speaker Series program. Miss Hadeal Al-Shammary, Community Outreach Coordinator, Texas Muslim Women's Foundation, will speak on Islam and the wearing of the hijab.
The program will be held at Lake Highlands High School in the L Building library 4:15-5:15 p.m., 9449 Church Road, Dallas, Texas 75238
The event is free and open to those interested in world affairs. Students, teachers, parents, educational institutions and community leaders are encouraged to attend.
