11th Annual Pie Contest White Rock Farmers Market

It's our 11th season at White Rock Farmers Market - and it's time for another blockbuster pie contest!

Each year we invite amateur bakers to bring their pies for a tasty, festive extravaganza celebrating our community - and PIES!

Bring a pie, or just come to taste!

Awards for Best Pie in the following categories:
Best Fruit Pie
Best Nut Pie
Best Chocolate Pie
Best Cream Pie
Best Savory Pie
Best Youth Pie (Under 16)
Best Overall Pie

Deadline for Entry – Friday, November 22nd at NOON

To Enter:
$10 fee per entry.
Bakers must bake TWO pies per entry, both for tasting (only one entrance fee per pie entry)

Rules:
Contest open to AMATEUR bakers of all ages
Contestants may enter as many pies and/or categories they choose.
Pies, pie fillings, and pie crust must be homemade.
No commercial fillings, crusts, or store-bought pies.
Please bring a serving utensil.
Contestants must check-in between 830am-9am and must be present to serve their pie from 9am-11:30. Winners will be announced at Noon.
GLM will provide tables, serving plates, forks and napkins.

** Bakers under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Prizes:
Winners in each category win ribbons, market tokens, and bragging rights!

If you aren't a baker, join us at 9am to taste EVERY PIE for $5 and vote on your favorite! Every taster is a judge - winners chosen through people's choice ballots.
