Artes de la Rosa cordially invites you and your family to the 16th Annual Dia de los Muertos Two (2) day festival at the historic Rose Marine Theater.
The FREE festival kicks off on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 6pm to 9:30pm indoors with the following:
* Dia de los Muertos Community Altar
* Dia de los Muertos Art Exhibition.
* Live Performances: Coco Characters, Ballet Folklorico de Fort Worth, Mariachi Aguilas Azul - Carter Riverside HS
* Short Films
* Movie Screening - Coco (English audio/Spanish subtitles)
* Community Partner Booths & Arts/Crafts Activities
The celebration continues on Saturday, November 2nd, from 5:30 pm to 9:45 pm.
On this day, the festival becomes indoor and outdoor with the following scheduled:
* Mariachi / Drum Procession - from Marine Park to Mercado Plaza Park at 7 pm
* Dia de los Muertos Community Alter
* Dia de los Muertos Art Exhibition
* Live Performance Entertainment (Mariachi, Ballet Folklorico, Opera, Interactive Characters, Mayan Arts Performance and much more.)
* Children Arts & Craft Activities
* Food
* Music
* Face Painting
* Vendor and Community Partner Boothes & activities
* Short Films
* Movie Screenings - Book of Life (Spanish audio/English subtitles)
This traditionally rich Latin festival, primarily celebrated in Mexico, celebrates and honors the lives of past loved ones.
