The Hughes Family Tribute Center will present its fifth Día de los Muertos Celebración on Saturday, November 2 in Crown Hill Memorial Park. The cemetery, located in the Bachman Lake area, is traditionally visited by families on Día de los Muertos. The Celebración builds on this tradition by presenting an Opening Parade; live music by Mariachi Michoaccan; dance performances by Grupo Pakal, specializing in Mayan dance presentations, and Alegre Ballet Folklorico; traditional face painting; stilt walkers; Tharpo the Clown, altar-building and blessing; and a free showing of the Disney Pixar movie, Coco. The Celebración is free and open to the public.
