KERA will hold a Members Screening of The Young Victoria on Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Angelika Film Center in Dallas. Emily Blunt stars as the future Queen of England who can shift the power structure of Europe based upon who she decides to marry. Will she pick her cousin Albert of Germany? Could she end up with her adviser, Lord Melbourne? Or will she fall for a shaggy haired paper salesman from Scranton, Pa.? (Wait, that already happened.)
For anyone interested in European history and tired of all the focus on Elizabeth, you’ll likely learn something in The Young Victoria.
