The Big Deal: ‘Wet: A DACAmented Journey’ Presented By Cara Mía Theatre

by Gila Espinoza 5 Sep 2018 1:00 AM

Cara Mía Theatre & Ignite/Arts Dallas presents “Wet: A DACAmented Journey.”  Written and performed by Alex Alpharaoh, “Wet” changes the narrative surrounding DACA. It chronicles one man’s ongoing story of living all but his first three months of life in the United States as an undocumented American. The one-man show captures the precarious, red-tape-ravaged life that’s aptly nicknamed the “DREAMer” experience. Through intimate and visceral storytelling, Alpharoah brings his story to the stage for a limited run in Dallas, before continuing on a national tour. Enter to win a family pack of 4 tickets to see the production at Theatre Too, inside Theatre Three in Uptown Dallas on Sunday, September 23.
