The Big Deal: WaterTower Theatre’s Production Of ‘The Last Five Years’

by Zoee Acosta 30 May 2018 8:30 AM

Think about where you were five years ago. Think about who you were with. Think about that idealized image you had of yourself in five years time. Now think about where you are today. Is this where you thought you’d be? The universality of this question resonates through Jason Robert Brown’s intimately observant and often funny, “The Last Five Years.” Through opposing intersecting chronologies, this award-winning musical follows the story of Jamie and Cathy, two 20-something artists in New York, as their relationship blossoms and sours.

Five years ago their relationship began, but today it’s over. Now, both of them make the decision to look back, each from a unique perspective, on the last five years to reflect on and relive the beginning, the end, and everything in between.  Signing up for this deal gives you the chance to win a pair of tickets to see WaterTower Theatre’s production of “The Last Five Years” on June 15, at the Addison Conference and Theatre Centre.
