The Big Deal: VideoFest 26 at Alamo Drafthouse

by Gila Espinoza 25 Sep 2013 8:44 AM

VideoFest-26-final-postet_optVideoFest is quite the tradition in Dallas and if you have never been to VideoFest before then there is no better time to start than this year when VideoFest moves to its new location the Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson.

Thanks to our good friends at the Video Association of Dallas we will award one lucky winner two All Festival passes. This $300 value Big Deal will get the winner and one good buddy into all VideoFest 26 events including the opening night event and screening of True Tales at Gilley’s on Oct. 9, and the concert at the MAC on Oct. 11. The one challenging part of winning this Big Deal will be trying to decide which of the approximately 175 documentaries, features, shorts, animation, and experimental videos to see during the rest of the festival Oct. 10-13 at the Alamo Drafthouse.

Remember to win the Big Deal you must be an Art&Seek e-newsletter subscriber. If you are not a subscriber yet you can take care of that right here. Then sign up for this Big Deal and our other goodies this week: tickets to see Tommy Emmanuel at the Majestic Theater, The Lennon Sisters at Arlington Music Hall, and admission to a special evening from Art&Seek and the  Fort Worth Opera exploring the making of With Blood With Ink, an opera about theologian, writer and proto-feminist Sor Juana. That one’s so big we’re doing it twice: in Fort Worth or Dallas.

Sign up below for a chance to win 5 free days of entertainment with VideoFest 26 All Festival passes.

UPDATE:  We have our winners. Thanks to all of you who signed up for the Big Deal! Come back again next week.
