Art Heist is this Saturday, and we have two tickets for one winner. You’ll be a “witness” at the annual fundraiser for EASL (Emergency Artist Support League) on Saturday, Oct. 30 at Lofty Spaces. These tix are valued at $100, and get you free food and drink and the chance to watch the big Heist, as well as participate in a post-Heist auction. Artists are often asked to donate their work to fund-raisers, but EASL tends to get amazing contributions, since it gives back directly to artists. Check out some of this year’s artwork here.
We all know that many artists are living without the safety net of insurance, easily toppled by a single unexpected medical issue or other emergency. EASL provides grants to visual artists and professionals in our area who find themselves in this situation. So your evening also means rubbing shoulders with folks who believe in this cause.
