The Big Deal: The DSO Presents 1812 Overture And Bronfam Plays Liszt

The 1812 Overture and Bronfam Plays Liszt, presented by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, will be performed April 11-13. For this program, the Dallas Symphony Chorus will join the DSO for The Bells, Rachmaninoff’s stormy choral symphony. Welcomed back to the Meyerson stage will be world-renowned pianist Yefim Bronfman who will perform Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Other featured artists include Mané Galoyan, soprano, Sergey Skorokhodov, tenor, and Andrei Bondarenko, baritone. The concert concludes with Tchaikovsky’s rousing and explosive 1812 Overture. This special program is part of the 2019 SOLUNA International Music and Arts Festival from April 4-28, 2019.
