The Big Deal – The Cliburn’s Beethoven At 250: The Piano Concertos

by Gila Espinoza 18 Dec 2019 1:32 AM

To mark the 250th birthday of Beethoven, international celebrations are planned throughout 2020. For their part, The Cliburn will kick off the year with a very special Cliburn at the Bass. On January 4, The Cliburn will present each of Beethoven’s five piano concertos with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m at Bass Performance Hall. One day, two concerts, five spectacular pianists, and Miguel Harth-Bedoya, in the midst of his final season as the orchestra’s music director. Enter to win two tickets to the concert of your choice and ring in the New Year with Beethoven!

And if you like this Big Deal, we know you will want to sign up for our other Big Deal of the week – tickets to see the Dallas Symphony Orchestra present Dvořák’s Violin Concerto at the Myerson Symphony Center. Or if you feel the room swayin’ when the band starts playin’ then perhaps you will want to take a chance to win tickets to see “Hello, Dolly!” at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth.

Please note: Only Art&Seek newsletter subscribers are eligible for the Big Deal. If you are not already a subscriber, you’ll want to sign up here for the newsletter first before signing up below. Winners will be selected by random drawing on Friday and will be notified by email. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours after notification, or cannot make the specified performance date, or declines the prize, another winner will be randomly chosen.

UPDATE: We have our winners. Thanks for playing!
