The Big Deal: “Texas In Paris” At Eisemann Center For Performing Arts

by Gila Espinoza 1 Nov 2017 8:31 AM

“Texas in Paris” is a musical based on true events. The musical, filled with spirituals, cowboy songs, and country hymns, was written by Dallas’ writer and filmmaker Alan Govenar. The story follows a black woman and white man both invited to perform in France.  Although they have never met and are apprehensive of each other the two eventually find a mutual bond in their love of music and faith. Enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the opening night performance on November 16. “Texas in Paris” runs through November 19, at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson.

Be sure to take the time now to check out our other Big Deals this week – tickets to Ballet Frontier of Texas’ presentation of “The Nutcracker” or tickets to the exhibition, “Zurbarán: Jacob and His Twelve Sons, Paintings from Auckland Castle” at the Meadows Museum.
