International dance company Shen Wei Dance Arts brings their artistry to the stage of the Winspear Opera House. Founder Shen Wei, and his contemporary dance troupe, won world acclaim for the production of the opening ceremonies at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Wei’s works are a melding of ancient and new, a fusion of not only dance styles but art mediums as well. Wei not only is choreographer but acts as stage director, set, costume, lighting and make-up designer, painter, and filmmaker for his creations. Enter for a chance to experience Shen Wei Dance Arts on June 19 at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.
