Travel guru Rick Steves is packing up his bags and making Dallas his next destination. For his one night appearance at the Winspear Opera House, the author and PBS-NPR host will talk about his travels to Israel and Palestine. Steves will relate the Israeli/Palestinian history and offer up his perspective about traveling in the Holy Land. Steves posits that Americans should travel often and that traveling can be done in a smart, affordable way that should broaden one’s world perspective. This special lecture is presented in partnership with KERA and the World Affairs Council DFW. Sign up to win a pair of tickets for the Oct. 1 event.
