The Big Deal: Oak Cliff Film Festival ‘Yesterday’ Screening And Concert

by Gila Espinoza 29 May 2019 1:31 AM

This year marks the 8th year for the Oak Cliff Film Festival.  The festival runs June 6-9, at various venues in Oak Cliff. One of the highlights of the festival will be the Texas premiere of “Yesterday” ahead of its national theatrical release. The film features Himesh Patel as a struggling singer-songwriter who welcomes up one day in a world where no one has heard of The Beatles. Win this Big Deal and receive two Oak Cliff Film Festival VIP badges. Your badges will provide you and your guest entry to all the screenings including ‘Yesterday’ and the post-screening concert.

The California Psych-pop-rock band Mystic Braves have been called “The Mexican Beatles” and they are ok with that. See them live in the backyard of The Wild Detectives following the screening of ‘Yesterday.’ Houston psych-rockers Flower Graves opens the show.
