Do you have family coming into town for the Fourth of July? Are you looking for a way to entertain them that doesn’t involve eating or fireworks? Then we have a Big Deal for you – one that not only entertains, but enlightens as well.

The Meadows Museum is hosting the only American stop for “Impressions of Europe: Nineteenth-Century Vistas by Martín Rico.” This is the first-ever retrospective of one of Spain’s most beloved landscape painters, Martín Rico y Ortega (1833-1908). The exhibition, co-organized by the Prado, presents more than 100 works of art from public and private collections, illustrating the artist’s trajectory through rugged terrain, azure coasts and serene Venetian waterways. This Big Deal awards two winners free admission for four people valid till the exhibition closes on July 7.

Big Deal winners are chosen from our Art&Seek e-newsletter subscribers. So be sure you’re signed up for the newsletter, then sign up for this Big Deal and our other Big Deals – tickets to the Fort Worth Symphony’s Concerts in the Garden: The Music of the Rolling Stones at the Botanic Garden and tickets to the Dallas Wind Symphony’s Star Spangled Spectacular! at the Meyerson Symphony Center.
