The Big Deal: Keyboard Conversations with Jeffrey Siegel at the Eisemann Center

by Gila Espinoza 1 May 2013 7:35 AM

This Big Deal is for both the seasoned listener, as well as the new-to-classical music listener.   The Eisemann Center for the Performing Arts Center is offering two pairs of tickets for Listen to The Dance: Waltzes, Marches, Polkas and Tangos Jeffrey Siegel’s Keyboard Conversations

Pianist Jeffrey Siegel combines concert performance artistry with illuminating commentary to make music more meaningful and therefore, more enjoyable for his audience.  Prior to playing a work, Siegel uses everyday language to deliver informative and entertaining insight about the music and the composer.  He then ends the night with an engaging Q&A segment.  On May 6, Siegel will break down the music of Schubert, Strauss, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Albéniz and John Philip Sousa.

But for now let’s breakdown our other two Big Deals this week – tickets for Fela! at the AT&T Performing Arts Center and for Fort Worth Opera’s The Daughter of the Regiment.  Don’t forget we pull winners from our Art&Seek e-newsletter subscribers, so if you’re not a subscriber yet, you can take care of that right here.

Sign up below for a conversation with Jeffrey Siegel.

UPDATE:  We have our winners! Come back next week for some more Big Deals.
