The CBS Film Inside Llewyn Davis is the latest epic adventure by the movie-making duo the Coen brothers. Joel and Ethan Coen, whose credits include Barton Fink, Fargo, The Big Lebowski, and O Brother, Where Art Thou?, take their main character on a crazy odyssey set against the backdrop of the 1960s folk scene.
Oscar Isaac plays Llewyn Davis, a character inspired by real life folk singer Dave Van Ron. Inside Llewyn Davis follows a week in the life of the struggling musician as he fumbles his way through one misadventure after another. And of course, it would not be a Coen film if our hero did not encounter a cast of eccentric characters, this time played by Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake, John Goodman, and F. Murray Abraham. Catch the film at the Landmark Magnolia Theater on Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Win this Big Deal and you can see it for free!
