The Big Deal – Gustave Caillebotte: The Painter’s Eye At The Kimbell Art Museum

During the height of Impressionism in the 1870s and 1880s, Gustave Caillebotte (1848–1894) produced some of the movement’s most daring and bold paintings. A collection of 50 paintings from 1875 to 1882, the time in which Caillebotte was most committed to the Impressionist movement, is on display at the Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth. Even though admission is free to the Museum’s permanent collection special exhibitions like Gustave Caillebotte: The Painter’s Eye requires an admission fee. Enter for a chance to receive a pair of tickets to see the masterworks on view from Nov. 3 through Feb. 16, 2016.
