Exhibition on Screen brings art exhibitions from around the world to HD theaters near you. The Dutch painter known for his painting “Girl with a Pearl Earring” is the subject of the next film in the series. Vermeer and Music: The Art of Love and Leisure is a stylish study of Johannes Vermeer and his visual representation of music. Accompanied by insights from Vermeer experts, the audience is treated to close inspection of Vermeer’s work in high-definition detail. For this Big Deal you can catch a screening of the film at the Angelika Mockingbird Station on Oct. 17, at 7 p.m.
