The Big Deal: Eisemann Center For Performing Arts Presents ‘Endurance’

by Gila Espinoza 8 Oct 2014 8:30 AM

BD Endurance 500x340

Endurance is the mash up comedy about company drone Walter Spivey and the employees at his small Hartford insurance office, and Sir Ernest Shackleton, the British explorer and his beleaguered 1914-16 Antarctic expedition. The time is set at the start of the financial crisis when companies began laying off thousands of workers as they struggled to stay afloat during the financial upheaval. Insurance adjuster Spivey is forced to step up when he and his office is tasked with clearing a backlog of 4,000 claims in three months’ time. Using the heroic Shackleton as a model for leadership, Spivey finds the optimism and indomitable spirit to lead his men forward during the tumultuous and uncertain times. Win tickets to see the Oct. 16th performance at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson.

Now is also the perfect time to take advantage and sign up for our other Big Deals this week – tickets to Theatre Three’s Shear Madness, and tickets to Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth’s ‘French Romantics Plus’ at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
