The Big Deal: David Blaine at the Winspear Opera House

by Anne Bothwell 4 Jan 2012 7:40 AM

David Blaine is an illusionist who likes to make a spectacle of himself. He’s been buried alive, drowned alive, frozen in ice and suspended above Times Square. He’s also starred in a couple TV specials you may have seen: David Blaine: Street Magic and David Blaine: Magic Man.

On January 12, he comes to the Winspear Opera House for a discussion called “David Blaine – The Art of Magic,” part of  the Brinker International Forum.  Will he escape unscathed? Five winners of this Big Deal will find out.  Each will receive a pair of tickets to the show.

But you must be an Art&Seek e-newsletter subscriber to win. Sign up here. It’s free.

And check out our other Big Deals this week: Go here to enter for tickets to see the Flatlanders at The Granada. And go here for tickets to Bill Frisell at The Kessler.

Enter for a conversation with David Blaine below.

UPDATE: Thanks to all who entered, we have our winner.
