Experience the breathtaking power, beauty, and passion of the Dallas Black Dance Theatre and DBDT: Encore! as they perform highlights from this season. The dance companies will perform “Dancing Beyond Borders” in both in Richardson and in Fort Worth.
DBDT will perform Displaced, Yet Rebirthed by Hurricane Karina survivor and choreographer Michelle N. Gibson that blends poetry, dance, video, and the live New Orleans second line Kickin’ Brass Band. DBDT: Encore! will perform Black Rose by former Ailey II dancer Levi Marsman.
