“Men on Boats” closes Circle Theatre’s 37th season with a splash. The comedy was written by young playwright, Jaclyn Backhaus. Backhaus was awarded the 2018 Horton Foote Prize for Promising New American Play for her work “India Pale Ale.” In “Men on Boats” we follow the true(ish) story of John Wesley Powell and his team’s expedition through the Grand Canyon in 1869. Enter this Big Deal for a chance to see the play makes its Fort Worth premiere on opening night Saturday, October 20.
And if you still have your sea legs about you then be sure to sign up for our other Big Deal, tickets to “Treasure Island: Reimagined!” presented by Dallas Children’s Theater. Or how about a date night package with a Dinner & Concert, courtesy of the folks at Klyde Warren Park.
Please note: Only Art&Seek newsletter subscribers are eligible for the Big Deal. If you’re not yet receiving our weekly emails then you’re missing out! You’ll want to take care of that first here before you sign up below. Winners will be selected by random drawing on Friday and will be notified by email. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours after notification, or cannot make the specified performance date, or declines the prize, another winner will be randomly chosen.
UPDATE: We have our winners. Thanks for playing!
