The Big Deal: A Pair of Exhibition Catalogues from the Amon Carter Museum

by Anne Bothwell 3 Oct 2012 7:23 AM

One hundred masterworks from more than 65 artists tracing the history of modern art in America, from the late 19th century through the mid-20th. The Amon Carter Museum of American Art is one of only three US museums to host The Phillips Collection: To See as Artists See, which opens Oct. 6.

One Big Deal winner will get to take memories of the museum and the exhibition home, with two catalogues, for the Phillips Collection -the source of the works in the exhibition – and for the museum’s collection.  To See As Artists See features work by Richard Dibenkorn, Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, Georgia O’Keefe, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko and others.

An American Collection features 125 works from the museum’s collection and is a hard cover coffee table book.

You must be an Art&Seek e-newsletter subscriber to win. And you may want to check out this week’s other Big Deals: Tickets to see Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder at Annette Strauss Square and tickets to Afghan Whigs at the Granada.

UPDATE: We have our winners. Thanks for playing.
